Q: Hi, so my boyfriends mom died and I'm not quite sure what happened to his dad but he lives with his aunt and uncle now and I really want to know what happened to his parents. I'm waiting till he feels comfortable talking about it but I could really use some help on what to say when he does tell me the full story as to what happened.
he is obviously very distraught and grieving, and everyone deals with grief in different ways. Definitely don’t push him, and wait until he is ready to talk. Just let him know that you are there for him and care about him. Remember, sometimes all someone needs is a hug and not words
