Q: Okay so recently I came out to my parents because this girl and I are kinda getting more serious and I didn't want to go behind their back with it but ever since I did come out they've treated me different and they always yell at me saying that I'm embarrassing and a disappointment. My dad made me go to church (note My family is SUPER catholic) They are making me stay in the closet for the rest of high school and I can't bring it up until I move out and I don't know what to do.
At this point in time where you’re not old enough to legally be by yourself, you have to rely in them. They may not accept it at the moment, but at least they tolerate it and that’s a lot better than most. I know it’s hard to stay hidden and not express your love to everyone, but right now it’s the only choice. Stay strong Hun
