Q: I'm in a long distance relationship (I'm in europe, she's in usa), and we recently took a break because she hated seeing me depressed, and I started to take meds for it ad I've been for a week now. We said we would start talking again when I felt better (I liked this because I always made her cry and I hated that). Though now I wonder if I really deserve to be together with her. I'm 18 and she's 16, and I feel like I'm holding her back with my depression and I dont' know what to do...
Depression isn’t something you can usually deal with on your own and it’s not something you can control. I’m so proud you got help. She seems like she really cares about you and you do too. If you want her, fight for her, because I think you would beat yourself up later if you gave up on her.
